Mommy Bars say what?!

As I shopped around Babies "R" Us the other day I came across the snack aisle and to my surprise what did I see nothing other than "Mommy Bars." I had heard of them but just had never tried them. I always thought they would be these grain and oat bars with no flavor but no, they had CHOCOLATE in them!! I am crazy about CHOCOLATE, for those of you that don't know. So how could I not try them and let's not forget the fact that they are good for you and have protein and DHA which is need for the baby!! So I ended up getting one...

and OMG, do I wish I would have grabbed the box!! They are truly tasty (so I think) and sure does cure the craving for chocolate!! So needless to say, now I will have to make a 30 minute drive or so to the nearest Babies "R" Us just to go get some more Mommy Bars. I think they shall be my favorite snack, I figure these are much healthier than the junk  I eat, right?! (which the belly is really starting to show it)

                                                 

Something in the water

So I guess there must be something in the water here where i live!! I became a grandma today..Yes my little rat of a dog "Jewel" was preggo!! Ha, I guess she didn't want all the attention going to me...and guess who happens to be the puppies daddy? Yeup, none other than the other chew toy "Taco"...so we now have 3 little rat looking pups to add to the full house...our little chiranians or pomahuahuas, yeah those are the crazy breed name the GI SAILOR came up with will be loved until they can be adopted...the girls want to keep one but I'm not sure if I'm ready to add another pup to the mix, plus the new baby...I have to admit I am considering it though...this picture is just too cute for me not to consider!!

Now how am I gonna say no to that?!

"The TROOP" Continues to GROW!!

So I've been absent for a few months now and in those few months we have been hit with a surprise!! We are expecting baby #4!! We really didn't plan on getting pregnant but we knew there was a chance if it was meant to be, and well it was meant to be!! I'm now 6 months and things are going along well..still don't know if it will be a boy, girl or if we even want to find out...We are happy, excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time...will it be more than we can handle?!

Life Changing moment

Nine years ago on this date, I was blessed with my first baby girl...It was a true life changing moment, for life was no longer all about me...it became all about her!! I had waited 9 long months to  meet this little baby that I helped create and had been growing in my pretty big belly...How I loved to see my belly and just think what she would look like...She made me grow up whether I was ready or not...This little girl stole my heart from the day I found out I was pregnant with her..It was a crazy long 10 hours or so in  labor but totally worth it when I got to hold her for the very first time..The touch of her tiny little hands just made my heart melt..Crazy how time just flys by, don't seem like it was too long ago that I held her close to my heart and rocked her to sleep....We have been through the big #1, terrible 2's, tantrum 3's and so on and now we are moving into the tweens!! It is a pretty scary feeling..Not sure what to expect but I'm ready for the ride, whether it be smooth or bumpy I'm here to stand by her side and try 2 be the best mother I can be!! And no matter what happens or how old she turns, she will always be mommy's little girl!!

Ain't No Party Planner

Party planning, how do people go about getting it all done? For the last 2 months I have been trying to plan Coconut's birthday party, or so I keep saying. I am no good with planning parties. There is so much to be done and I come up with so many ideas but just never seem to execute them. I am not planning anything big this time around though, just a small party for her to invite her classmates. The last time I planned a b-day we spent so much and it was a total fail cause not many people showed up. Maybe that is why this time I haven't gotten much done. I'm not even sure what to serve, whether hotdogs or just wait until we see how many kids show up and just order pizza. So far the pizza idea is sounding better and better!! Can't go wrong with pizza, right? I mean, what kid don't like pizza? I still have to order the cake, pick up some candies for goodie bags and come up with a few games I guess. Oh and I have to figure out where I can get tables and a few chairs. I guess I can also decorate a little too. Some ballons, streamers and call it a day. So much to do so little time. So far this is all I have.

I know, not much but a good start...uummm, I think!!

 So I guess I better get crackin' and start, being as the party will be on the 6th. If there is anyone interested in helping or just plain out wanting to do everything for me you are more than welcome.

New Family Additions

As I had mentioned in 1 of my first post, our Troop has grown. It is no longer just the 7 of us. We have expanded "The Troop" to 9. There are now 4 four legged kiddos running around this crazy house. A German Sheperd puppy by the name of "Shooter Patron" but call him "Shooter" for short. We got him from a  K-9 breeder by the name of "VON HUNTER KENNELS." He is a free spirit kinda pup that likes to destroy all of my stuff!! Yes, seems like my stuff either tastes better or is just more fun to destroy. He has now destroyed 2 sweatshirts, 4 pairs of socks and a few magazines. Oh, and can't forget the famous panties. If he sees socks or panties peeking through the drawer he pulls them out and goes at them. He sure has a way of showing me love, NOT!!!

Told you looks are very deceiving. Even though he is a pain in my butt, he still has managed to find a place in my heart. Hope our "RELATIONSHIP" gets better with time. As for our 2nd addition, it happens to be a "Yo QUERO TACO BELL" kinda puppy. Yeup, that would be a chihuahua!! His name is "TACO" thanks to me. I just couldn't find a more perfect and fitting name than that! He was given to Blondie by her uncle, which happens to be my brother. So yes, the beaner dog came from the beaner side of the family, ha!! He is a little happy jolly thing that thinks he is the big dog and can take on all the other dogs in the house. Which I'm sure he could totally kill them, due to choking them to death if they tried eating him. He is a big snuggle rat that likes to cuddle with everyone, well except with little man. Little man seems to squeeze the pee out of him which he don't like. Taco likes to run to me for me to hold as soon as he sees me. He also enjoys sleeping with me when Blondie escapes her room in the middle of the night. Now he has a good way of showing me love!!

Blondie with her new BFF and room buddy!! She makes an awesome pet owner for being only almost 4 years old. She takes care of him pretty much on her own. Feeds him and even cleans up the poop!! So now a set of parents, 3 children and 4 four legged ones add up to  "THE TROOP." All we have left to wonder is how will it continue to grow....STAY TUNED!!!

SUMMER in WINTER

Winter is still here thanks to the famous ground hog's prediction!! and I'm not happy at all with Phil!!!! I'm a desert rat and do not like cold weather!! So I decided to make the best out of the winter storm that no one saw coming yesterday and make the best of it...so there for I turned it into a SUMMER in WINTER kinda day, well at least for me..hehe!!

Well at least I didn't have to worry about getting a sunburn!!

I even went for a little dip, no skinny dipping though or else I would have frozen my little ass off and ended up with frostbite in some very private places!!

kinda day!!

It's a new year!!

So it has just crossed my mind that it is a new year..yeah I'm only a few days late..no, don't have any new year resolutions...things have been crazy busy with the holidays, getting settled into our new home and well having to deal with a family member fighting a battle with cancer which ain't looking good at all..(it totally made xmas very hard, happy to spend it with family but yet very sad and tears rolled everytime we said goodnight) And to top things off, we have added a new member to the family..like 3 kiddos and two 4 legged ones weren't enough!!! We got a german shepard to add to the troop..was hard to decide on a name but looks like he ended up with "SHOOTER" haha, leave it to me and that's what you get!! So now not only am I wiping a 3 year old's butt when she goes potty and changing an 18 month old's diaper but also cleaning up poop an 8 week old 4 legged one leaves behind!!! Oh and did I forget to mention that we will be getting another 4 legged one once we get a chance to make a trip to Cali?! Yeup, a little chihuahua that will go by the name of "Taco" haha, once again leave it to me!! So yay to a brand spanking new year and cheers to me for surviving the last one!!!!
